About Andrea

Andrea’s approach is inclusive and she has collaborated with a diverse range of people at all levels, including C-suite members.

Andrea is known for building trust quickly, listening to understand, and fostering connections to open possibilities. She has coached leaders in the start-up world, growth, mature businesses, and within multiple functions including research through commercial, regulatory, and operations.

Andrea actively looks to “show up” with a curious mind, humble heart, and driving focus to deliver results that serve both individuals and the purpose of an organization.

Most recently, Andrea was Head of Human Resources, Senior Vice President for Joyn Bio, a US-based agricultural biotech company. There, she coached senior leaders -- throughout a divestiture -- on change management, leadership, and increased self-awareness. She is recognized for her calm, constructive presence and ability to help her clients focus during high emotional times.

A former human resources executive once said of Andrea: “she lives Gandhi’s statement, “be the change you want to see.” She actively looks to “show up” with a curious mind, humble heart, and driving focus to deliver results that serve both individuals and the purpose of an organization. She coaches with this same mantra in mind and believes in the power of people and their ability to step up, step out, and be authentic leaders.”

Andrea works with both individuals and groups. She coaches individuals who want to increase connection, impact, and effectiveness in diverse organizations. She coaches teams who wish to gain insights and practices that will move them to a higher level of performance.

Andrea has an MBA from Bentley University and a BS in Psychology from Skidmore College. She is a Senior Certified Professional (SCP) through the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and trained in various leadership and team assessment tools, including Insights, Predictive Index, and Lominger. Andrea is a continuous learner and is currently enrolled in Brown University’s Leadership & Performance Coaching Certification Program.

When Andrea isn’t coaching others and leading HR teams, she enjoys time with her husband and two daughters, hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, playing tennis, gardening, volunteering in her local community, and taking walks with her 150 pound Newfoundland dog, Oliver, who snores loudly and loves deeply.
